pick up did not go smoothly

This is a nice company, and the price was very good. The only problem I had was when they did not show up on the day I asked them to be there. Before you actually book this, the customer service rep will tell you that yes, they usually can pick up on you schulded day. They do not promise this, but they do try to put you at ease and make it seem like it is going to work out.They did not show up on the day I asked them to.I called the dispatch dept, and left a message or two and never heard back from them. I called customer service and they said they would get back with me. I had to call again, and they told me it would be another day or two. I told them that was not acceptable, and then they told me to refer back to my contract, that they do not alway pick up on the scheduled day. They said I needed to give the key to someone, and I explained that I had noone to give the key to, that is why when I booked this I wanted to make sure it was picked up on that scheduled day. Finally had to get my neighbor to help, and she actually had to call in to work to be avail to the driver who got my car. They called many times to change the pick up time. My car did arrive earlier than expected, and I heard the driver was very nice. Good company, but read the fine print on the contract, because if you call customer service to complain, they will just remind you to read what is stated in the contract. That does not help when you are frantically trying to plan a move.
